Winter Peace

Although there are many days that I am longing for the summer sun, the grass underfoot, and the birds singing again, this scene really shows how beautiful winter can be.

Snow everywhere!

This winter has been quite something for us Iowans! We usually do have some snow, and the temperatures usually drop pretty far in January, but this much snow is unusual! It's pretty though, so I thought I would share.

Imagine the Warmth

It's raining. The roads are super icy. The temps are falling. It's winter again here.

Cold, Winter Snow and Wind.

The combination of wind and snow yesterday was amazing. We had to use the pickup to get to church, and even then, it was a little hairy! The drifts across the road were huge. We live in a rural area, with open spaces and nothing to stop the snow!
