Winter Peace

Although there are many days that I am longing for the summer sun, the grass underfoot, and the birds singing again, this scene really shows how beautiful winter can be.

Hello!

I admit, I just plain didn't feel like taking pictures today for day 19! I really do have a card made, I had to make a couple of baby cards so I made an extra for Etsy. I will take photos tomorrow!

It's really sad that I make tons of cards and attempt to sell them to other people, but I find myself forgetting to send out cards for people's birthday's! Yikes! I have to get on top of this game!

What I have been doing is a little remodel project. I am painting...again. It seems like there is always something to be done in this house! Now it's my sons room, and picking the actuall color is always the hard part!

Flickr Frenzy

Were you part of the Flickr frenzy on Thursday? Wow! I cannot believe how many new contacts I got there in one day! Over 40! There were 3 different threads talking about Flickr in the Etsy Forums on that day and there were a lot of people checking it out! When someone says, "Flickr...Run Don't Walk" and talks about getting 2 sales because of it, many people will run!

It was a lot of fun though! I have to admit that I found quite a few shops that were new to me! Cute, fun, and beautiful items I found! In fact, there is one seller that benefited adding me as a contact: L & B Accessories ( http://lbaccessories.etsy.com/ ) I decided that I liked her stuff so much after seeing them on Flickr, that I went to her shop and gave her a couple of sales!

So, check your Flickr account! I cannot say with certainty that it has helped my shop (although, I did make a sale on Thursday night too...who knows?!) but it might help yours! And if you buy anything from a seller because of their Flickr account- let them know that is where you saw them!
