Winter Peace
Although there are many days that I am longing for the summer sun, the grass underfoot, and the birds singing again, this scene really shows how beautiful winter can be.

Snow everywhere!
This winter has been quite something for us Iowans! We usually do have some snow, and the temperatures usually drop pretty far in January, but this much snow is unusual! It's pretty though, so I thought I would share.

Poor little Birdies!
A week ago we had a lot of snow on the ground. In between we have had a lot of melting, however, we still have spots of snow here and there. I took this photo last Sunday and I love it! Even though it was cold and I am so ready for some really warm weather!

Cold, Winter Snow and Wind.
The combination of wind and snow yesterday was amazing. We had to use the pickup to get to church, and even then, it was a little hairy! The drifts across the road were huge. We live in a rural area, with open spaces and nothing to stop the snow!

Two hour late start?!
That's the news this morning. School is 2 hours late because of the new snow that we got over night. I should be used to it, March is usually the snowiest month! The fun thing about March snow is that it's usually packing snow, and the snow usually melts pretty fast! This is the newest card that I have in my shop. It can be used for a couple of things. Celebrate is a word that can describe an anniversary, or a birthday! I love the color combo in this one, of course, since it is red and teal! The red seems a little creamy, if you know what I mean! It's not a pure red, more like a watermelon red.
