This month I will be celebrating my Etsy-versary! The actual date is October 23. So I am ready to celebrate and hopefully you will help me in my celebration! From now until October 23, I am offering free shipping on all cards!
I really want to make my goal of having 100 sales before I get to the 23rd too. I figured it out this morning and I have sold 137 of my cards in the last year!
So come in, shop around, and know that all the cards you want are going to be shipped to you for free!

Made another sale!!
When I hit the 30 days of design a day, I decided that I was not going to continue. The main reason was because of the photos I had to take all the time. But...I miss it!! Maybe I should start up again?!Today I am going to show you the latest addition to my "Cowboy Up" series. These cards are really fun. They are somewhat different than what I have already made and sold in my shop, so we will see what comes of it. I will have to say that these cards seem to have quite a few views though, so that's encouraging! Maybe I will have to get into making some of the same style of the other cards that I have sold for awhile. Mother's Day is coming up soon and I really need to get my butt in gear.
That being said, I made another sale last night. Still fun!! Still get the rediculous goofy grin! Cofygirl is an awesome crafter...and now the owner of some of my cards, and a set of korker bows!! My sister will be so happy to hear the news! I'm waiting for her to get home to call and shout in her ear!
(Groan...I was waiting for the treasury to open up and I waited a little too long. At least I got this done I guess!) Please take a sec to vote on the side...let me know how you found me!

Day 27

So I made these cute invitations! I think they are adorable anyway, just not sure if they are sellable?! These invites are the same size as the other cards that I make- 5.5" x 4"
No sales so far today! It will probably follow the normal trend that I seem to have going...2 week breaks between sales. It's just that every time I have a sale I think- maybe this time the ball will continue to roll in a some what steady motion! I have to remember that I do not sell a product that people need and use everyday.
Have a great day!

I am on cloud nine today!
And yes, it has a lot to do with the fact that I sold 8 (no that is not a typo!!) of my cards last night! Yay! That is such a good feeling! And then, of course, I gave myself a bonus- bought some earrings from bibelots last night too! Aren't they pretty?
And the reason that I am excited is that I bought a Wii today. It has been a run around deal for me since November 15 of last year. I thought I would buy one for my kids for Christmas, but by that time already there has been a major shortage. I have been told a lot of different things by the Walmart employees, and have done a lot of calling to various places of business to see if they had any in yet. Needless to say, my kids didn't get anything for Christmas, except for the second remote to a Wii! (A bit like getting batteries with no toy to put them in! ;) I even had my friends on the look out for me! So today is a good day for my kids also!

Is this the time to throw in the towel?
I admit, I have been up and down, back and forth with my shop twiddlestix. I love the name of it, I love the cards that I have for sale, I love the Etsy community. There is nothing quite like making a sale.
Then there are the days that nothing sells, the views are so low it hardly makes a change. The time and effort that I have put in so far is bordering on awful. The hours that I have spent! Just sitting here!
I have been, and will continue to be, committed to the design a day. Every day I make something new, take photos, post here and on Flickr. Most have been cards, some are orders. But here sits my shop full of cards that no one wants.
That is the reason for my question. Am I getting no joy our of the wonderful craft that I usually have so much fun making?
I have been taking a break from my shop and forums. I thought possibly that way I would make a few sales. Or maybe I should get back on there and talk to my friends...see what happens.

Looking for Valentines Day gifts?

I know, I know. I have talked about these cute korker bows before, but I have new photos and I think they turned out really great!
I think these bows would make great Valentines Day gifts for a little girls classmates! Almost all little girls think it's great to have pretties in their hair!
My sister makes these and does a super job with them. The ribbon
is sewn onto the barrette. Take a look at this listing and see for yourself!
sell on Etsy, she would like to start up a custom thing so that the customers can decide what colors they would like together...what colors go with the outfits that their child has. At the moment, she just wants to make sure that these things are desirable!

Friday is here!

Phew! One week down....!
I got a sale last night in my shop! I am happy to report that my mom sold her first item! Yay! I was so excited for her. There is a little girl who is going to be surprised with a package soon. She will be getting the sweater that is pictured below (in an earlier post)
On that note, I am promoting the korker bows today. These bows are so adorable! I have a great idea for moms thinking about Valentines Day. Buy up the bows that I have and let your daughter hand them out to her friends at school! They get too much candy anyway, right? It's something to think about! They are 3.50 for the pair. If you really like them but think a different color would be nice, send me an email in my Etsy shop and I can work with you on that!
