Celebrate!

I'm up to 500 hearts! I've been waiting for a long time...and it finally came yesterday. So exciting! I can remember getting those first few, and those were really great, these are the same! Thanks so much!
Just thought I would share my newest cards. I'm really happy with the way they turned out!

A small Twist on an old card

I have a card in my shop that really got a lot of views, but it's still there! So I made another one that is almost like it, but with a small change. Even though it is quite similar, I am still going to list it. The colors are awesome together- mustard yellow and brown, and of course, the lovely tree!

Also I have some cards for sale now at Big Cartel. Here is my link if you would like to check those out too. As the Etsy sellers know, there may not be the same item being sold elsewhere online as in an Etsy shop, so these cards are all different than the ones in my shop.

I am recovered from my class trip yesterday! The day reconfirmed that I am not cut out to be a teacher...and I will add bus driver to that list! The actual class trip went really well, and I had a lot of fun with the kids. Just when I got home in the quiet of my house did I realize that I had acquired a raging headache, which is solved with a few Advil and a good nights sleep.

One other fun fact: I only have 3 more lunches to make for the school year! Yay!

New Tree Stamped Card

How was every one's Mother's Day? I was showered with handmade gifts from my daughters, and lots of love. I had my hubby take the annual photo with me and the kids...the rule was that my older 2 had to have their shoes off! Then the rule was thrown back at me- mom, no shoes for you either! Well, the picture proves it, my son is about 3 inches taller than me!

Here is my latest card with my new tree stamps. (Can you tell I have a thing for trees?!) This one is just a note card at the moment, but, as with most of my items in my shop, it can be customizable. Check it out!

It's a new week!

Ug. Almost every member of my family was down and out with the flu yesterday. Talk about a long Sunday!

Things are looking up today though! The sun is shining too!

So here is my newest card. I am particularly happy with how this one turned out! When I usually make cards, I make the face of it, then paste it on to an actual card that I buy. This time, I made the whole thing. The inside is even decorated! Check it out and see for yourself how it looks! I will be adding it to my shop in the next day.

Also, I made another shipment to Moco Market today! That's the place that I am doing a little consigning with. I got my first payment from them, and things look to be doing great!

Mustard Yellow and Brown

I love that color combo! I saw a treasury with these colors...pretty sure it was made by junkyardgypsy, who has quite an eye for making treasuries...and I loved it! (Of course, I love all of her treasuries! ;) Then I bought these new stamps. It's a set of 4 with trees on them. I took out my cardstock and started brainstorming. These 2 colors really stuck out at me, so I gave it a whirl.

For right now this card is not for any special occasion. However, if you really like the card but want something on it, such as "happy birthday," I am happy to do that!
