Computer Frustrations

Ach! I have no idea what I am doing with computers! I have tried and tried to get a photo with a link on the sidebar to no avail (sorry Katelyn!) I really want to change the look of this blog, and get the header looking nice, but this is it folks! At the moment, I am maxed out on my computer skills! Go easy on me...I am getting old- don't laugh too hard!

I'm a little worried that I will have the "computer butt" look this winter again, but it might be the only way I will learn how in the world to change things!

Anyway, I learned tonight that my long neglected Squidoo Lens is being featured, so I made some changes to that. (The last time I did was in February...I told you it was negected!) So the photos are now up to date, and so is the information. Come check it out! I do have a place to leave your Etsy link there if you would like!

Ah Computers...

I think I should take a class or something! I really want to have to know-how to do things on the computer. For those of you who have read my blog before, you might have noticed that I changed the template to a 3 column one. This is not one of the options that Blogger gives, so I had to actually change the HTML! What a proud moment that was! Now I am attempting to add some shop ads on the left hand side. That is proving to be a challenge at the moment.

We did some mattress shopping last night. We went to one place, looked at about 4 mattresses, and bought one. Just like that! Who knew that within a week of "starting to look" we would have a mattress in our home?! Actually, it isn't coming until Monday, but it was in stock and ready to be delivered! So what kind did we get? We went with the foam kind. Yes, it was more spendy, but my DH was convinced that it would be best...we will see how we like it!

Other than that, I had a wonderful birthday. My hubby and I went out for supper after mattress shopping, and the food was excellent. It was nice to get away with just him for a night!

Also, I worked on some new cards yesterday, and I came up with some great ones I think! I found this too cool paper in my stash and went to town with it. I will be showing those tomorrow!

Computer time

I can tell this is going to be more challenging...my time on the computer has just been cut in half! And whenever I am on here, I have some one by my side saying, "Can I play after you?" ;)

I always tell them that I am not playing...I'm working! (Go ahead- laugh!)

Anyway, since the weather has not been cooporating, (the clouds are abundant,) I have no photos of cards to upload. I do have some photos of interest though, and I will load those up for you to ooh and ahh over.

Jared in Kansas says, don't kill the dandelions...he hasn't seen this part of my yard!

I am trying!

Wow. For someone who is so not computer savvy, this is hard! I am learning so much though. I added my Flickr badge, and then my Etsy mini. For me, that's an accomplishment! There are many things I would like to add here, but it is going to take some time on my part.

For now, I will be reading other blogs, see how they do things, and ask a lot of questions. If you have any suggestions for me, please let me know!
